Fire Damaged Contents

Much of your valuable furniture and contents can be saved if treated early

The resulting soot from a fire may be oily and can stain your carpets as well as other household contents and textiles. For this reason, our technicians will always remove any soot using a heavy-duty HEPA vacuum and manual cleaning before attempting to clean or deodorise the item.

In some circumstances we are able to remove your affected contents to a secured facility for detailed restorative cleaning, and re-instate them on completion.

Leader Restoration's professional assistance will minimise odours by following proper odour removal techniques.
It may be necessary to use an ozone treatment to break up smoke molecules and eliminate odours; within the home, items are put under a tent while an ozone generator is operating. If this is not possible items will be bought back to our head office at Beenleigh where they can be treated in our purpose built Ozone Room.
Our restorer's will take non-washable clothing and curtains off site for traditional dry cleaning or specialised cleaning processes.
We clean carpets twice, both before and after repairs. Wet carpets must be dried before cleaning. In some cases, removal of carpet is necessary for complete drying.
